Event description
As part of a commitment to human centred design, our practice must necessarily attempt to consider the breadth of human experience across our customers and communities. Yet, given the often profit-led and growth obsessed approach many of our organisation are committed to, how do we go beyond the ‘mainstream’ human centred agenda to also represent the beautiful diversity of lived experience among our product and service users in our design work and impact stories?
In this CX Collective seminar, Elina Ashimbayeva will unpack parts of the product & service design journey, to help you identify some of the pitfalls that can lead to inequitable outcomes. Through a hands-on activity, Elina offers practical tools to make equitable product and service design decisions a more intentional practice in your work. Leave with a clear understanding of the key actions and tools you can take to make your next product or service more equitable alongside the confidence to drive the DEI conversation in your team and organisation.
Walk away with
- Clarity on how to walk the talk of DEI in your work
- Tools and approaches to identify non-DEI conducive behaviours and features in your development roadmaps
- Language, resources & templates to help you be more confident in your allyship
Perfect for
- CX, UX, Product & Service Designers
